Congress Confident of Three-Fourth Majority in Chhattisgarh Elections

Sushil Anand Shukla, Chairman of the State Congress Communication Department, declared that Congress would secure a three-fourth majority, forming a government of trust with over 75 seats.

TFP Bureau, Raipur, Nov 30,2023: The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee is optimistic about the election results, expecting an outcome even better than the exit polls. Sushil Anand Shukla, Chairman of the State Congress Communication Department, declared that Congress would secure a three-fourth majority, forming a government of trust with over 75 seats.

Shukla attributed the expected victory to the public’s endorsement of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s leadership and the Congress government’s five years of commendable work. Highlighting the trust gained through successful by-elections, urban body, and panchayat elections, Shukla emphasized Congress’s undefeated streak over the last five years.

Accusing the BJP of using underhanded tactics during the elections, Shukla mentioned false allegations against Chief Minister Baghel. Despite a concerted effort by prominent BJP leaders, including the Prime Minister and Union Ministers, to tarnish Baghel’s image, Shukla asserted that the public had rejected these conspiracies.

Asserting the government’s achievements in good governance and development, Shukla contended that the Bhupesh Baghel-led government had implemented more schemes on the ground than promised in the manifesto. The Chairman expressed pride in the social justice programs and their positive impact on farmers, forest produce collectors, and women’s self-help groups.

As Chhattisgarh eagerly awaits the election results, the Congress remains confident in securing a decisive mandate for its continued governance. Sushil Anand Shukla concluded by underlining the restoration of Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage and the government’s accomplishments in education, health, and employment.
