TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 6, 2024: The ongoing Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, initiated under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to extend the benefits of public welfare schemes across the country, is witnessing significant participation from beneficiaries. The camps, strategically set up as part of the yatra, have become hubs where citizens connect directly to access the advantages of various government schemes previously beyond their reach. The camps have garnered widespread attendance from a multitude of beneficiaries, and what sets them apart is the personal testimonies shared by those who have already reaped the benefits of Modi government’s initiatives.
Beneficiaries are registering in substantial numbers, with particular enthusiasm seen in Ujjwala Yojana and Ayushman Yojana. The Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana are also witnessing active participation. Visitors to the camps, including Ministers, MLAs, and Central officials, are actively involved in ensuring that the citizens receive their rightful benefits.
One notable impact is the strengthening of the financial condition of those associated with Banking Correspondent (BC Sakhi), such as Mrs. Kanti Prajapati in Koriya district. Mrs. Kanti, a BC Sakhi, highlighted that she now receives remuneration ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000, significantly boosting her household’s financial well-being. The BC Sakhi’s primary responsibility involves providing banking services to villagers, facilitating various financial transactions, and opening new accounts.
Under the ‘My Story, My Words’ initiative, Mrs. Rajni in Bilaspur expressed relief after receiving a gas cylinder through the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. She emphasized the positive impact on her health, stating that she is now free from smoke, and her eyes no longer burn.
Mrs. Ramnia Singh from village Aani expressed gratitude for receiving the Prime Minister’s House (Rural), sharing the transformative impact it had on her life. With a move from a kuchha house to a pucca house, she witnessed improved living conditions, with the added benefit of water facilities. Mrs. Ramnia also noted the positive change in the village’s overall landscape, as many kuchha houses have been replaced by permanent structures.
Another beneficiary, Mrs. Bela Bai, thanked the Modi government for Ayushman card coverage that proved to be a boon for her kidney stone treatment. She emphasized the card’s significance as a lifeline for economically disadvantaged families, preventing financial strain due to medical expenses.
The Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues to be a transformative force, connecting citizens directly with the benefits of government schemes and garnering heartfelt stories of positive change.
