Chief Minister Shri Sai Joins Devotees in Celebrating Bhakta Mata Rajim Jayanti Mahotsav

Modi’s guarantees, including the release of over Rs 3700 crore in the accounts of more than 12 lakh farmers for the 2 years’ paddy bonus

TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 7, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai actively participated in the Bhakta Mata Rajim Jayanti Mahotsav held at the Triveni Sangam in the religious city of Rajim. Accompanied by officials and public representatives, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan and devotee Mata Rajim, extending wishes for the happiness, prosperity, and progress of the state and society.

Addressing the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai commended the progressive nature of Sahu Samaj, a society in Chhattisgarh, urging everyone to embrace the teachings of Bhakta Mata Rajim and Bhakta Mata Karma. He expressed optimism about the grandeur of Rajim Kumbh making a triumphant return, with saints and sages from across the country converging to participate. Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated the people of the state on Bhakta Mata Rajim Jayanti, recognizing the significant contributions of Bhakta Mata Rajim in organizing and advancing the Sahu community through dedication and sacrifice. He emphasized the progress made by the society in fields such as education, agriculture, and business.

The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to fulfilling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guarantees, including the release of over Rs 3700 crore in the accounts of more than 12 lakh farmers for the 2 years’ paddy bonus. Other promises include providing residences to over 18 lakh families, CBI investigation into the Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission case, payment of Rs 3100 per quintal to farmers, and Rs 12,000 annually to mothers and sisters under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, acknowledging the organized nature of Sahu Samaj, expressed the community’s good fortune in having two revered Goddesses, Mata Rajim and Mata Karma. He credited the society’s progress to the blessings of these Goddesses and the Sahu community’s unique identity in service work. MP Shri Chunnilal Sahu and other dignitaries addressed the program, which was attended by public representatives and a large gathering from the society.

The event showcased the celebration of Bhakta Mata Rajim Jayanti and the ushering in of the New Year, uniting the Sahu community in joyous festivities.
