Governor Shri Harichandan Encourages Citizens to Uphold Temple Cleanliness

Governor appealed to citizens statewide and nationwide to prioritize cleanliness within temple premises

TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 16, 2024: Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Biswabhusan Harichandan took an active stance in championing the cause of temple cleanliness by participating in the cleanliness drives at both Shri Ram Mandir on VIP Road and Shri Jagannath Mandir in Gayatri Nagar, Raipur.

Governor Shri Harichandan appealed to citizens statewide and nationwide to prioritize cleanliness within temple premises. “This initiative resonates with the vision set by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Maintaining cleanliness in our surroundings contributes to the well-being of Mother Earth. Such campaigns inspire us to partake in acts of humanitarian service,” he remarked.

During his visit, Shri Harichandan not only engaged in the ongoing cleanliness efforts but also offered prayers at both temples, extending his wishes for the prosperity and happiness of the entire nation, including Chhattisgarh.

The event saw the presence of Religious Trust and Endowments Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, and the Chairman of the Temple Committee, along with other senior officials.
