TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 18, 2024: In a recent order issued by the Chhattisgarh Government’s Home (Police) Department, Shri Amit Kumar (IPS-1998) has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence), Police Headquarters, Raipur. This appointment is effective immediately and is temporary until further orders.
Shri Amit Kumar, a seasoned officer with the rank of Additional Director General of Police, will be taking charge of the crucial Intelligence portfolio at the Police Headquarters in Raipur. His experience and expertise are expected to contribute significantly to the state’s intelligence-gathering efforts.
Upon assuming the new role, Dr. Anand Chhabra (IPS-2001), the outgoing Inspector General of Police (Intelligence), will be relieved from his post. The transition is aimed at optimizing the leadership structure within the Intelligence division.
