Key Administrative Transfer & Appointments Announced in Chhattisgarh Government

The decisions, aimed at enhancing efficiency and streamlining operations

TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 25, 2024: The General Administration Department of the Chhattisgarh Government issued a series of transfer and appointment orders during a recent cabinet meeting, marking significant changes in key administrative roles on January 24,2024. The decisions, aimed at enhancing efficiency and streamlining operations, include the following appointments:

1. Dr. C.R. Prasanna, I.P.S. (2006), Secretary, Co-operation Department, has been given the additional charge of Director General, Thakur Pyarelal State Institute of Panchayat and Rural Development.

2. Shri Rajesh Singh Rana, I.A.S. (2008), Chief Executive Officer, CREDA, and Chief Executive Officer, Chhattisgarh, will temporarily serve as the Chief Executive Officer, CREDA, and will be posted to the position of Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department. He is also assigned additional charge of the State Skill Development Tribunal.

3. Shri Mahadev Kavre, I.A.S. (2008), will assume the additional charge of Director, Pension, in addition to his current responsibilities as Director, COMO CHHATTISG Treasury and Accounts.

4. Shri Doman Singh, I.A.S. (2009), Special Secretary, Ministry, is temporarily posted as Additional Commissioner, Bilaspur Division, Bilaspur, and will also assume the additional charge of Additional Commissioner, Surguja Division, Ambikapur.

5. Shri Padum Singh Elma, IAS. (2010), will handle the additional charge of Director, Tribal Research and Training Institute, and Managing Director, Antyavasya Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation, along with his present duties.

6. Ms. Pushpa Sahu, I.A.S. (2012), Joint Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, and Additional. In-Charge Joint Secretary, Forest Department, is temporarily posted as Director, Local Fund Audit. She is also assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board.

7. Shri Anand Kumar Masih, I.A.S. (2013), Secretary, Chhattisgarh. Police Accountability Authority, is temporarily posted as Commissioner, Waqf Survey.

8. Shri Rituraj Raghuvanshi, I.AS. (2014), the Director, Health Services, is temporarily posted as Commissioner-cum-Director, Health Services.

9. Shri Amrit Vikas Topno, IAS. (2014), Joint Secretary, Planning, Economics and Statistics, 20 Point Program Implementation Department, has been temporarily appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Chhattisgarh State Watershed Management Agency.

10. Smt. Tulika Prajapati, I.A.S. (2016), is assigned the additional charge of Project Director, Chirag Project, in addition to her present duties.

11. Shri Gopal Verma, IAS. (2016), Deputy Secretary, Ministry, has been temporarily appointed as Secretary, Chhattisgarh State Information Commission.

These appointments, reflecting a strategic realignment of responsibilities, are geared towards improving administrative effectiveness and ensuring the seamless functioning of various government departments.
