TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 31, 2024: Chhattisgarh emerged triumphant as the overall champion at the 67th National School Sports Competition 2023–24 held in Korba district. The state’s dominance extended to baseball matches, where they secured victories in all age groups for both boys and girls under-14 and under-19 categories, showcasing exceptional sportsmanship. The Chhattisgarh teams outplayed their counterparts from Delhi in all age categories, securing a notable victory.
Delhi, displaying commendable performance, secured the runner-up position in both boys and girls under-14 and under-19 age groups. In the under-19 boys’ category, Maharashtra clinched the third position, followed by Madhya Pradesh in fourth place. Similarly, in the under-19 girls’ category, Maharashtra secured the third position, while Chandigarh claimed the fourth spot.
In the under-14 boys’ category, CBSE secured the third position, and Maharashtra settled for the fourth place. In the under-14 girls’ category, Chandigarh secured the third position, while Maharashtra again secured the fourth place.
The spirited competition showcased the talent and dedication of young athletes from across the nation, with Chhattisgarh’s outstanding performance earning them the coveted title of overall champions.
