The reshuffle, disclosed late on Sunday night, comes in the wake of the recently formed Chhattisgarh government.
Key Appointments:
Dr.Anand Chhabada and Santosh Kumar Singh Take Charge in Raipur
Dr. Anand Chhabda, an IPS officer from the 2001 batch, has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police for the Police Headquarters in Nawa Raipur. His temporary assignment in this role is effective until further orders. Simultaneously, Santosh Kumar Singh (IPS-2011) assumes the position of Superintendent of Police for Raipur on a temporary basis.
Additional Changes in Leadership: Ratan Lal Dangi and Ajay Kumar Yadav
Shri Ratan Lal Dangi, Director of Netaji Subhashchand Bose State Police Academy, Chandkhuri, Raipur, and previously holding the additional charge of Inspector General of Police for Raipur Range, relinquishes the additional responsibility. Meanwhile, Ajay Kumar Yadav (IPS-2004) takes on the role of Inspector General of Police for Bilaspur on a temporary basis until further orders, with his previous post at Police Headquarters, Nawa Raipur.
Notable Transfers: Deepanshu Vijay Kabra and D. Ravi Shankar
Shri Deepanshu Vijay Kabra (IPS-1997), previously serving as the Transport Commissioner for Chhattisgarh in Raipur, sees a change in his role. Withdrawn from the Transport Department, he is now temporarily appointed as the Additional Director General of Police for Police Headquarters, Raipur. Meanwhile, Shri D. Ravi Shankar (IPS-2009), Superintendent of Police for Jashpur, hands over his services to the Transport Department and takes on the position of Additional Transport Commissioner, Chhattisgarh, temporarily posted in Raipur.
