TFP Bureau, Raipur; February 14, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai kickstarted a health camp organized by the Health Department at the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly today, setting an example by being the first to undergo a health checkup. Doctors conducted tests for his blood pressure and blood sugar levels. The Chief Minister commended the health team of the Assembly for their proactive initiative.
Highlighting the significance of regular health screenings for early detection and management of diseases, he cited initiatives led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, such as establishing Wellness Centers in remote areas like Bijapur district, ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare services for all.
As part of the event, Chief Minister Shri Sai also launched the health card for the Assembly Dispensary. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel, along with MLAs Shri Kiran Singh Deo, Shri Sampat Agrawal, and Shri Anuj Sharma, alongside other senior officials, graced the occasion with their presence.
Dr. Suresh Chandravanshi conducted health screenings for other dignitaries including Health Minister Shri Jaiswal, MLA Shri Singh Deo, and MLA Shri Agrawal. The health camp, scheduled from February 14 to February 16, offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including specialists in various fields such as medicine, microbiology, gynaecology, ophthalmology, E.N.T, dermatology, psychiatry, radiodiagnosis, pathology, and biochemistry, catering to the healthcare needs of esteemed members of the Assembly, officials, and employees.
