Event Aims to Harness Social Media for Good Governance

TFP Bureau, Raipur; February 17, 2024: The Public Relations Department of the Chhattisgarh Government is set to organize the ‘Let’s Collab Chhattisgarh’ Creator Meet-Up on February 24th at the Chhattisgarh SAMVAD Bhawan in Nava Raipur. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to leveraging social media as a tool for effective governance.

Commissioner of Public Relations, Mr. Mayank Srivastava, highlighted the significance of the event, stating that it will provide a platform for exchanging ideas and insights on utilizing social media for governance. Emphasizing the importance of understanding the aspirations of the youth, the event aims to amplify the reach of government schemes through digital platforms.

Distinguished senior IAS and IPS officers, known for their adept use of social media, will grace the occasion to share their experiences in leveraging digital tools for public welfare projects. Their insights are expected to offer valuable guidance in harnessing the potential of social media for governance.

The event will also feature the participation of influential social media content creators who have made significant contributions to Chhattisgarh’s art, culture, and tourism through their digital presence. These creators will be felicitated for their outstanding contributions during the event.

Participation for social media content creators is open through Google Forms accessible on the Public Relations Department’s social media platforms. However, selection of participants will be at the discretion of the Public Relations Department, ensuring a diverse and impactful gathering.
