Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary Encourages Students Ahead of Exams

Emphasizes on Holistic Development and Emotional Intelligence

Choudhary delivered an inspiring message to students, emphasizing the importance of focusing on personal growth and development rather than fixating on outcomes. During a virtual interaction session, Shri Choudhary provided guidance, boosted morale, and addressed queries from students regarding exam preparation strategies.

Encouraging students to adopt a holistic approach to success, Shri Choudhary underscored the significance of nurturing qualities that enhance one’s abilities and contribute to personal growth. He stressed the mantra of giving one’s best effort without being overly concerned about the results, emphasizing the value of perseverance, dedication, and a positive attitude in navigating challenges.

Responding to queries from students, Shri Choudhary addressed concerns about exam stress and the pressure to meet parental and societal expectations. He advised students to maintain composure and focus during exams, reminding them that success is not solely determined by academic achievements. Drawing examples from history, he highlighted the accomplishments of individuals who faced academic setbacks but went on to achieve greatness through their resilience and determination.

In discussing the importance of emotional intelligence (EQ) alongside intellectual intelligence (IQ), Shri Choudhary emphasized the need for students to cultivate emotional awareness and resilience. He emphasized the role of emotional intelligence in navigating challenges, managing stress, and making informed decisions, underscoring its significance in today’s competitive world.

Furthermore, Shri Choudhary urged parents to understand and support their children’s individual strengths and capabilities, refraining from imposing undue pressure or unrealistic expectations. He emphasized the importance of creating a positive and supportive environment for children to thrive and encouraged parents to nurture their children’s confidence and self-esteem.

In a bid to provide additional support to students aspiring for competitive exams, Shri Choudhary announced the establishment of Prayas Sanstha in Raigarh, offering free preparation facilities for exams such as IIT-JEE and NEET alongside school education. Additionally, the opening of Nalanda Campus will provide students with a conducive environment for preparing for competitive exams, further empowering them to achieve their aspirations.

As the session concluded, Shri Choudhary left students with a motivating message, urging them to strive for excellence and envision a future where their achievements are celebrated, echoing the sentiment,

“Work hard so that one day your signature becomes an autograph.”
