Chief Minister Shri Sai to Grace Rajim Kumbh Amidst Spiritual Fervor

Janaki Jayanti Celebrations and Sant Samagam Highlight Cultural Richness

TFP Bureau,Raipur; March 3, 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai is set to participate in the festivities marking Janaki Jayanti at Rajim Kumbh Kalp Mela on March 4, alongside various cultural and spiritual events. The occasion will witness a series of programs, including the recitation of Shiv Mahapuran Katha by renowned storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao will preside over the event, with several ministers including Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Shri Kedar Kashyap, Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, Shri O.P. Choudhary, Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Shri Tankaram Verma, and Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade gracing the occasion as special guests. The festivities will be attended by saints, public representatives, and distinguished citizens.

Simultaneously, the second festival bath at Rajim Kumbh Kalpa will take place on Janaki Jayanti, offering devotees the opportunity to partake in the auspicious rituals and receive blessings. A grand procession commemorating Mata Janaki will also be organized, drawing a multitude of devotees to participate in the religious fervor.

In a parallel event, the Virat Sant Samagam commenced today at Kumbh Kalpa, featuring the presence of revered saints and sages from across the country. The inauguration ceremony saw the participation of esteemed dignitaries including Sharda Peethadhishwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Sadanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and Badrinath Peethadhishwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj.

Addressing the gathering, Swami Sadanand Maharaj highlighted the significance of Rajim Kumbh in preserving the rich Sanatan culture, emphasizing the importance of religious adherence in safeguarding cultural heritage. Similarly, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Maharaj stressed the role of saints in imparting moral education and promoting virtuous behavior among devotees.

Expressing gratitude for the presence of the revered Shankaracharyas, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel and Health Minister Shri Shyambihari Jaiswal extended their wishes for the prosperity of Chhattisgarh and its people. MLA Rohit Sahu conveyed his appreciation for the spiritual ambiance at Rajim Kumbh Kalpa, underscoring its significance as a sacred pilgrimage site.

The convergence of cultural celebrations and spiritual gatherings at Rajim Kumbh exemplifies the state’s rich heritage and serves as a platform for fostering unity and spiritual enlightenment amongst devotees.
