Rajim Kumbh Mela Inaugurated by Chief Minister; Pradeep Mishra Honored as State Guest

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, in a grand ceremony at the Rajim Kumbh Kalp Mela, worshiped Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan, seeking blessings for the state’s prosperity and well-being. He also launched the official website of the Mela and inaugurated a book on Kumbh, alongside renowned Katha Vachak Pandit Pradeep Mishra. A light and sound show mesmerized a large gathering of devotees.

TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 5, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai graced the auspicious occasion of the Rajim Kumbh Kalp Mela on Monday, where he fervently worshipped Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan, invoking blessings for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the residents of the state. Adhering to the prescribed rituals, the Chief Minister led the ceremonial worship, marking a momentous start to the revered event. Accompanied by a multitude of devotees, he inaugurated the official website of the Rajim Kumbh Mela, symbolizing a seamless blend of tradition and technology.

In a significant moment of recognition, Chief Minister Shri Sai honored the renowned Katha Vachak Pandit Pradeep Mishra, conferring upon him the esteemed title of Rajya Atithi (State Guest). The Chief Minister’s gesture underscored Mishra’s invaluable contributions to spiritual discourse and cultural enrichment.

Amidst the spiritual fervor, a captivating light and sound show, paying homage to Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan, enthralled the gathering, adding a celestial ambiance to the proceedings. Devotees from far and wide immersed themselves in the divine atmosphere, cherishing the sacred moments of the Kumbh Mela’s inauguration.

In a parallel event, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the 108 Mahakundiya Yagya, Shri Shiv Mahapuran, and Sant Sammelan held at Chalan village (Chatarkhar) of Mungeli. Seeking blessings from the revered Shiv Mahapuran Katha narrator, Shri Pradeep Mishra, the Chief Minister performed the Shiv Mahapuran Aarti, extending prayers for the state’s prosperity and well-being.

Addressing the devout gathering, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced the implementation of the Shri Ramlalla Darshan Yojana, wherein the Chhattisgarh Government would facilitate visits to the Lord Shri Ramlalla temple in Ayodhya for the state’s residents. Expressing gratitude towards Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s assurances, he reiterated the government’s commitment to the holistic development of Chhattisgarh.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao echoed sentiments of reverence, acknowledging the auspiciousness of the grand event in Mungeli, honoring Lord Bholenath on the cusp of Mahashivaratri.

The Sant Sammelan witnessed the presence of revered saints from across the country, including Sadhvi Ritambara Ji, Rajeev Lochan Das Ji Maharaj, Sadhvi Pushpanjali Ji, and Shailleshanand Ji Maharaj, enriching the spiritual fabric of the gathering. Minister of Sports Shri Tankaram Verma, Divisional Commissioner Smt Shikha Rajput Tiwari, Collector Shri Rahul Deo, SP Shri Girija Shankar Jaiswal, along with a multitude of devotees, graced the occasion, underscoring the collective reverence and devotion towards the divine.
