TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 7, 2024: Commerce and Industry Minister, Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, revealed plans for the formulation of a new industrial policy in the state aimed at stimulating economic growth and employment opportunities. Minister Dewangan made this announcement while addressing the annual conference of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Chhattisgarh, held at a private hotel in Jora.
Highlighting the importance of fostering industrial development in the state, Minister Dewangan emphasized the need for creating an environment conducive to the establishment of new industries. He underscored the government’s commitment to facilitating job creation and providing livelihood opportunities for the residents of Chhattisgarh through the upcoming industrial policy.
Minister Dewangan reiterated the government’s focus on supporting entrepreneurs and fostering a conducive ecosystem for industrial growth. The proposed industrial policy for the next five years (2024-2029) aims to address the needs of both existing and prospective industry players in the state.
Echoing the sentiments of Prime Minister Modi, Minister Dewangan emphasized the imperative of generating employment opportunities for the youth to enhance their standard of living.
Expressing gratitude for Minister Dewangan’s participation, CII State President Mr. Siddharth Aggarwal and Vice President Mr. Ashish Shroff commended the government’s proactive approach towards fostering industrial growth and economic development in Chhattisgarh.
