TFP Bureau,Raipur; March 9, 2024: In a significant move, the Chhattisgarh Government has announced the tax-free status for the film “Article 370” within the state, as declared by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. The proclamation came during the Chief Minister’s visit to Magneto Mall, where he, accompanied by his wife, Smt Kaushalya Sai, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, and Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, attended a screening of the movie.
Commending the cinematic endeavor, Chief Minister Sai urged citizens to partake in the viewing experience of “Article 370,” lauding its portrayal of the intricate circumstances surrounding the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the formidable challenge associated with this decision, noting the prevailing skepticism regarding its potential ramifications. However, he underscored the resolute leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, whose determination and foresight facilitated the successful abolition of Article 370.
“Our ideology revolves around ‘One nation, one constitution, one emblem’,” Chief Minister Sai articulated, emphasizing the incongruity of Article 370 with this foundational principle. He reiterated the longstanding opposition to Article 370 and celebrated its removal as a pivotal step towards national unity and integration. Praising the film’s portrayal of Kashmir’s plight under Article 370, Chief Minister Sai commended its depiction of the arduous struggle preceding its abolition, offering audiences a poignant insight into the region’s developmental impediments.
