TFP Bureau, Raipur, March 11, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the Art Center in Raipur today, underscoring its significance as a vital hub for nurturing artistic talent. The newly established center, facilitated by the district administration, aims to provide artists with enhanced opportunities for skill development and artistic expression.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai expressed his optimism about the center’s potential to empower artists and offer them a platform to refine their craft. The facility, equipped to provide training in 12 diverse art forms, is envisioned to cater to the creative aspirations of children and youth in the region. Praising the transformation of a dilapidated structure into a vibrant art center, the Chief Minister commended the efforts of the Raipur district administration.
The inauguration ceremony, presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary and Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal. Notable figures such as Raipur Rural MLA Shri Motilal Sahu and MLA Mr. Anuj Sharma graced the occasion, with Mr. Sharma captivating the audience with a musical performance.
During his visit to the center, the Chief Minister interacted with artists and trainers, emphasizing the importance of fostering artistic talent among the youth. He also commended young clay-art prodigy Master Aditya Verma for his exceptional craftsmanship and artistic prowess.
The Art Center, situated behind the International Library in Raipur, boasts dedicated training rooms for various art forms, including drawing, sculpture, classical and western dance, music, and crafts. Additionally, an open stage within the premises will serve as a platform for cultural performances and artistic showcases.
As the inaugural event concluded, various artists enthralled the audience with captivating performances on the open stage. Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh and Corporation Commissioner Mr. Abinash Mishra presented a token of appreciation to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, marking a momentous milestone in Raipur’s cultural landscape.
