TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 16, 2024: The Department of Urban Administration and Development has allocated a total of Rs. 112,10,51,000 for 30 urban bodies across the state under the 14th and 15th Finance Commissions. This includes Rs. 111,88,01,000 sanctioned for 30 urban bodies under the 15th Finance Commission, along with Rs. 19,38,000 for Kharoud Nagar Panchayat and Rs. 3,12,000 for New Ledri Nagar Panchayat under the 14th Finance Commission. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Urban Administration and Development, approved these allocations with instructions for timely completion of proposed projects while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards.
Under the 15th Finance Commission, allocations include Rs. 7,71,37,000 for Bhilai-Charoda Municipal Corporation, Rs. 8,90,86,000 for Bilaspur Municipal Corporation, Rs. 71,39,000 for Kawardha Municipal Council, Rs. 1,53,78,000 for Saraipali Municipal Council, Rs. 8,33,000 for Bagbahara Municipal Council, Rs. 98,000 for Lormi Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 73,52,000 for Daundi Lohara Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 3,69,53,000 for Durg Municipal Corporation, Rs. 7,11,75,000 for Raigarh Municipal Corporation, Rs. 4,20,62,000 for Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation, Rs. 45,07,000 for Balodabazar Municipal Council, Rs. 52,000 for New Ledri Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 32,85,000 for Utei Nagar Panchayat, and Rs. 4,37,94,000 for Chirmiri Municipal Corporation.
Under the 14th Finance Commission, allocations include Rs. 12,00,000 for Jhagarakhanda Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 18,00,000 for Mungeli Municipal Council, Rs. 16,50,000 for Manendragarh Municipal Council, Rs. 37,62,000 for Rahaud Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 53,51,28,000 for Raipur Municipal Corporation, Rs. 22,95,000 for Tumgaon Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 27,41,000 for Kharoud Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 59,74,000 for Basna Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 1,11,85,000 for Ramanujganj Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 1,09,30,000 for Bilaigarh Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 33,86,000 for Mana Camp Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 27,82,000 for Shibarinath Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 9,32,000 for Lakhanpur Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 27,79,000 for Nawagarh Nagar Panchayat, Rs. 37,24,000 for Kota Nagar Panchayat, and Rs. 11,48,32,000 for Dhamtari Municipal Corporation.
