Adani Vidya Mandir Surguja Achieves 100% Pass Rate in CBSE Class 10th Examinations

Tribal Students Shine with Exceptional Results

TFP Bureau, Ambikapur; May 16, 2024: In a remarkable achievement, Adani Vidya Mandir (AVM) located in Salhi village, Udaipur block of Surguja district, has achieved a 100% pass rate in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10th examinations. All 35 students who appeared for the exams from AVM, Salhi have successfully cleared the main examination for the academic session 2023-24.

Eight tribal students from the batch have particularly excelled, securing impressive marks ranging from 83% to 69%. Among the high achievers are Kumari Preeti Gond from Village Dawa with 83%, Sachin Das from Village Parsa with 81%, Kumari Ameesha Porte from Village Salhi with 71%, Manjeet Das from Village Salhi with 71%, Manjeet Sarthi from Village Parsa with 70%, Kumari Jyoti Kusro from Village Shivnagar with 70%, Kumari Tara Rani Markam from Village Ghatbarra with 69%, and Kumari Sameela Porte from Village Salhi with 69%.

The school administration, teachers, and parents have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students for their outstanding achievements, commending their dedication and hard work.

AVM, Salhi, operating under the Adani Foundation’s social initiatives in the tribal area of Ghor, Udaipur district, is the sole CBSE-affiliated school in the region. The school provides quality education in English medium, along with essential amenities such as nutritious meals, uniforms, books, and school bags, to over 900 tribal children. Additionally, the nutritious meals served at the school are prepared by the mothers of the students, further fostering community involvement and empowerment.

Adani Foundation is actively engaged in various social programs, including education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and livelihood enhancement, in Udaipur block of Surguja district. The foundation offers livelihood courses at the Skill Development Center to promote self-reliance among local youth and women. Last year, 95 trainees, including 35 men in the Assistant Electrician trade and 60 women in the Sewing Machine Operator training, received certificates and kits to support their successful completion of the training. Through its initiatives, Adani Foundation aims to empower communities and individuals, contributing to the nation’s development.
