TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 19, 2024: The entrance examination for admission to Class 6th in Eklavya Adarsh Residential Schools, administered by the Tribal Welfare Department, has concluded with an atmosphere of excitement among students across the state. Conducted under the guidance of Secretary Shri Narendra Dugga and the strict supervision of Principal Secretary Shri Sonmani Bora, the exam witnessed a commendable turnout of 81.83% of registered candidates.
A total of 35,684 students had registered for the entrance exam, out of which 29,200 appeared, while 6,484 candidates did not. Welcoming the candidates with traditional tilak marks, the examination centers were set up in 28 districts of the state.
Officials from the Tribal Welfare Department highlighted that the exam, aimed at admitting students to Eklavya Adarsh Residential Schools for the 2024-25 session, was meticulously organized. Deputy Commissioner Shri Pragyan Seth, in charge of the Eklavya branch, issued necessary instructions, ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination.
The exam results will be declared at the state level, and admissions will be facilitated through a counseling process. With the successful completion of the examination, students eagerly await the next steps in their educational journey at Eklavya Vidyalaya.
