TFP Bureau, Raipur, Jun 1, 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur launched a two-day “Chintan Shivir” (Ideation Camp) today, inaugurated by Chief Minister Vishnudeo Say. The event, aimed at crafting a vision for a developed Chhattisgarh and India, saw active participation from all state ministers.
The first session focused on “Vikasit Chhattisgarh: A Vision for 10 Years.” B V R Subramaniyam, CEO of NITI Aayog, delivered the keynote address, detailing strategies for achieving a developed India. He highlighted India’s progress under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, emphasizing the nation’s goal to join the ranks of major global economies by 2047.
Subramaniyam discussed the importance of scale, speed, and innovation in realizing this vision. He noted India’s potential, citing its strategic position, demographic advantages, and robust reforms. He also stressed the significance of having a clear vision to guide future actions and strategies.
The ministers engaged enthusiastically, asking numerous questions and demonstrating a deep understanding of the issues. The Chintan Shivir aims to bring together decision-makers to exchange ideas, learn from experts, and develop a clear, actionable plan for the state’s development.
Notable attendees included Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaysawal, Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Finance Minister O P Chaudhary, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade, and Sports Minister Tankram Verma.
