TFP Bureau, Surajpur; June 27, 2024: Emphasizing the pivotal role of education in shaping students’ futures, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade addressed attendees at the district level school entrance festival in Surajpur. The event, aimed at welcoming newly admitted students, also celebrated academic achievements and highlighted government initiatives to enhance educational access.
Minister Rajwade commended the dedication of school teachers and urged them to inspire students with wholehearted teaching and clear goals. “If our teachers instill a sense of purpose and determination in students, our children will undoubtedly bring honor to our state,” she remarked, echoing the vision of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.
The festival began with traditional rituals of welcome, including applying tilak and distributing sweets to the newcomers. Rajwade underscored the district’s educational advancements, showcasing innovations through projector presentations that highlighted various educational activities.
Students who excelled academically were honored with certificates, and promising students in the district were promised electronic tablets to further support their educational journey. Additionally, as part of the Saraswati Cycle Yojana, bicycles were distributed to girl students to facilitate their commute to school.
The event was attended by former Home Minister Mr. Ramsevak Paikra, along with several other dignitaries including Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Mr. Ajay Agarwal, and local officials such as Divisional Commissioner Mr. Govind Ram Churendra and District Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas. District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Kamlesh Nandini Sahu and District Education Officer Mr. Ramlalit Patel were also present, demonstrating unified support for educational initiatives in Surajpur.
The gathering concluded with a sense of optimism and commitment to further enhance educational standards and opportunities for all students across the district.
