High Court Registrar Honored on Retirement; Judicial Employees Colony Inaugurated

Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha Recognizes Dedication and Advances Judicial Infrastructure

TFP Bureau, Raipur; June 28, 2024: In a heartfelt ceremony, Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Shri Ramesh Sinha, honored High Court Registrar Shri Diwakar Prasad Singh on the occasion of his retirement. Shri Sinha presented Singh with a memento, shawl, and coconut, acknowledging his dedication and excellent service. Singh, who began his career as a translator at the Madhya Pradesh High Court in March 1995, continued his service at the Chhattisgarh High Court following the state division. Joint Registrar cum PPS Shri M.V.L.N. Subrahmanyam was present at the farewell.

On the same day, Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha and Justice Arvind Kumar Verma of the District Bemetara inaugurated the Judicial Employees Residential Colony in Sindhauri, Tehsil Saja, and the Indian Sub Post Office in the Bemetara District Court premises through a virtual medium. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Principal District Judge Shri Brijendra Kumar Shastri, Collector Shri Ranbir Sharma, Superintendent of Police Shri Ramakrishna Sahu, President of Advocates Association Shri Pranish Choubey, and various judges, advocates, and departmental officers.

The new Judicial Employees Colony in Singhauri, Bemetara, includes quarters for 22 families across four blocks. A new Indian Sub Post Office was also opened in the District Court premises, with Chief District Judge Shri Brijendra Kumar Shastri being the first to open an account.
