The announcement was made during a ceremony to mark the appointment of Shri Lokesh Kavadia as the new Chairman of the Corporation, held at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium, Medical College, Raipur.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"1074\">Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sai emphasized that the move reflects his government\u2019s commitment to the holistic development of persons with disabilities. \u201cWe are working to improve the standard of living of our disabled citizens through targeted schemes, financial support, and skill development. Our vision is rooted in equity, dignity, and opportunity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1360\">During the event, loans were distributed to 15 disabled beneficiaries, while 11 others received interest subsidies. Additionally, a hearing aid was provided to a hearing-impaired recipient, demonstrating the government\u2019s on-ground commitment to support through both policy and action.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1401\"><strong data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1401\">Support for Startups and Livelihood<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1722\">The Chief Minister also called for a comprehensive survey of children with disabilities to identify their aspirations and provide tailored support\u2014especially in the form of loans for self-employment and startups. \u201cWe must create pathways for entrepreneurship and economic independence for our disabled youth,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1759\"><strong data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1759\">Praise for Inclusive Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"2173\">Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, also present at the function, applauded the government&#8217;s focus on inclusion. He recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s emotional connection with the disabled during his visit to Dantewada, saying, \u201cThis is not just policy\u2014this is personal. The appointment of an experienced social worker like Lokesh Kavadia will ensure that the voices of the disabled are heard and addressed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2175\" data-end=\"2218\"><strong data-start=\"2175\" data-end=\"2218\">Empowerment Through Skills and Training<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2492\">Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade echoed the sentiment, stating, \u201cOur focus remains on skill development and economic empowerment of persons with disabilities.
