{"id":1288,"date":"2025-04-30T17:45:22","date_gmt":"2025-04-30T17:45:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=1288"},"modified":"2025-04-30T17:45:22","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T17:45:22","slug":"chhattisgarh-cabinet-announces-key-decisions-to-strengthen-transport-education-and-farmer-welfare","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=1288","title":{"rendered":"Chhattisgarh Cabinet Announces Key Decisions to Strengthen Transport, Education, and Farmer Welfare"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" data-start=\"105\" data-end=\"205\"><strong data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"232\">TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 30, 2025<\/strong> \u2014 In a significant Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the Chhattisgarh government has made a series of decisions aimed at improving public transportation, technical education, and farmer welfare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"512\"><strong data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"512\">Launch of &#8220;Mukhyamantri Gramin Bus Suvidha Yojana&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"514\" data-end=\"1078\">The Council of Ministers has approved the launch of the <strong data-start=\"570\" data-end=\"614\">&#8220;Mukhyamantri Gramin Bus Suvidha Yojana&#8221;<\/strong> to provide much-needed transportation services to remote and underserved rural areas of Chhattisgarh. This scheme will provide permits for light and medium transport vehicles with seating capacities ranging from 18 to 42 (excluding the driver). Priority will be given to local residents, particularly Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, women, and Naxal-affected individuals. The permit system will be established through a tender process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1458\">Beneficiaries will enjoy a three-year exemption from monthly taxes, and the government will offer financial assistance of Rs 26 per kilometer in the first year, Rs 24 in the second year, and Rs 22 in the third year. Additionally, special provisions will be made for people with disabilities, senior citizens over 80, and Naxal-affected individuals, with reduced or waived fares.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1460\" data-end=\"1511\"><strong data-start=\"1460\" data-end=\"1511\">Boost to Technical Education with NIELIT Center<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1513\" data-end=\"2000\">In another crucial decision, the Cabinet approved the allocation of <strong data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1605\">10.023 acres of land<\/strong> to the <strong data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1686\">National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT)<\/strong> for the establishment of a <strong data-start=\"1714\" data-end=\"1748\">state-of-the-art NIELIT center<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1778\">Nava Raipur Atal Nagar<\/strong>. This new center will revolutionize technical education and digital skill development in the state, opening up new avenues for youth employment and positioning Chhattisgarh as a key player in national technical education.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2064\"><strong data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2064\">Support for Farmers on Regha, Batai, Lease, and Duban Land<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2066\" data-end=\"2530\">The Council of Ministers has also made a significant move to support farmers working on <strong data-start=\"2154\" data-end=\"2193\">Regha, Batai, Lease, and Duban land<\/strong>. These farmers will now be eligible for the benefits under the <strong data-start=\"2257\" data-end=\"2282\">Krishak Unnati Yojana<\/strong>. The guidelines for the scheme have been amended to provide input assistance to these farmers, ensuring they receive support for paddy and paddy seed procurement in the Kharif season through cooperative societies and other state-run organizations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2532\" data-end=\"2584\"><strong data-start=\"2532\" data-end=\"2584\">Adjustment for B.Ed Qualified Assistant Teachers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2586\" data-end=\"3138\">In a move to support <strong data-start=\"2607\" data-end=\"2644\">B.Ed qualified assistant teachers<\/strong> who were previously terminated after direct recruitment in 2023, the Cabinet decided to adjust <strong data-start=\"2740\" data-end=\"2762\">2621 such teachers<\/strong> into <strong data-start=\"2768\" data-end=\"2810\">Assistant Teacher Science (Laboratory)<\/strong> positions. These teachers will be accommodated in <strong data-start=\"2861\" data-end=\"2883\">4,422 vacant posts<\/strong> of Assistant Teacher Science (Laboratory) across the state.
