TFP Bureau, Raipur, \u00a0May 15, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, during a joint review meeting with officials from Dantewada and Bijapur districts held at Bijapur headquarters, emphasized the need to make the judicial system more accessible and efficient for people in remote tribal areas. He instructed authorities to ensure arrangements for online testimony in courts, aiming to provide timely justice without requiring villagers to travel long distances.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the role of digital technology, the Chief Minister said, “The judicial process can be made easier and faster, providing relief to common people, especially in tribal regions where transportation is a major hurdle.”<\/p>\n
The meeting was attended by several dignitaries including Minister in charge Shri Kedar Kashyap, MLA Shri Chait Ram Attami, former Minister Shri Mahesh Gagda, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, DGP Shri Arun Dev Gautam, and senior officials from both districts.<\/p>\n
Mr. Sai also spoke about the ongoing Sushasan Tihar<\/em> initiative, describing it as a symbol of transparent and accountable governance. He noted that since its launch, the government has prioritized delivering on promises, strengthening public trust.<\/p>\n Addressing security concerns, the Chief Minister reiterated the commitment to eradicate Naxalism by March 2026. He called for comprehensive support for surrendered Maoists, including housing, skill training, and employment. He urged organizing placement camps with participation from NMDC and private sectors to facilitate their reintegration into society.<\/p>\n Focusing on tribal development, Mr. Sai stressed the need to create local employment opportunities aligned with regional resources. He praised the establishment of Atal Seva Kendras in 1,460 Panchayats, ensuring villagers have easier access to essential services like banking at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n Noting Bastar\u2019s wealth in minerals and forest produce, the Chief Minister urged efforts to boost income through sustainable development. He highlighted the importance of irrigation, allied agricultural activities\u2014such as fisheries, animal husbandry, and milk production\u2014and tourism promotion to generate employment and enhance prosperity.<\/p>\n He further called for maximizing public service delivery via Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras in Bastar\u2019s Gram Panchayats and emphasized the continued focus on infrastructure projects under the Niyada Nellnar Yojana.<\/p>\n The Bijapur collector reported improvements in education through summer camps and the Bal Shiksha Mitra program. The Chief Minister lauded Dantewada\u2019s officers for a notable rise in examination results, with a 10% increase at the high school level and 4% at the higher secondary level.<\/p>\n Mr. Sai also highlighted concessions for setting up rice mills under the new industrial policy and encouraged connecting local youth with these opportunities. He advocated promoting maize cultivation in upland areas to boost farmers’ incomes.<\/p>\n Announcing the Chief Minister\u2019s Rural Bus Service Scheme, the CM stated that interior villages of Bastar and Surguja divisions will be linked to main roads.
