TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 21, 2025: In a significant counter-insurgency breakthrough, the District Reserve Guard (DRG) of the Chhattisgarh Police has eliminated 27 Naxals in a high-risk operation in the dense and rugged terrain of Narayanpur district. Among the dead is Nambala Keshav Rao, a top Naxal commander, marking a severe blow to the insurgent group’s leadership and operational strength.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai praised the security forces for their courage and termed the operation as a “decisive step toward achieving lasting peace in the region.”<\/em> He said the successful mission reflects the commitment of the security forces to realize the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah to eliminate Naxalism by March 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is not merely an encounter. It is Vijay Ka Shankhnaad<\/em>\u2014a resounding declaration of victory in our ongoing war against Naxalism,\u201d said CM Sai in a statement. \u201cOur brave jawans are turning that resolve into reality on the ground, facing extreme geographical and operational challenges with unshakable dedication.\u201d<\/p>\n However, the operation came at a cost. One soldier was martyred, and several others sustained injuries. The Chief Minister paid tribute to the fallen soldier and assured that the state government would never forget his sacrifice. He also instructed authorities to ensure the best possible medical care for the injured personnel.<\/p>\n The death of Nambala Keshav Rao, a key figure in the Naxal hierarchy, is seen as a strategic breakthrough in the government\u2019s anti-Naxal operations.
