These stations, designed to offer world-class passenger amenities and reflect local cultural heritage, mark a significant leap in Indian Railways\u2019 infrastructure overhaul.<\/p>\n<p>Participating in the inaugural event at Ambikapur Railway Station, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for including Chhattisgarh in this transformative initiative. The newly inaugurated Amrit Stations in the state include Ambikapur (Bilaspur Division), Urkura, Bhilai, Bhanupratappur (Raipur Division), and Dongargarh (Nagpur Division).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe inclusion of Ambikapur and four other stations in the Amrit Bharat scheme has placed them firmly on the national railway map with a new identity,\u201d said Chief Minister Sai. \u201cThis is a moment of pride for the tribal-dominated regions and the entire state.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The event at Ambikapur saw participation from senior ministers and dignitaries including Forest Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, and Lok Sabha MP Chintamani Maharaj, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Under the Amrit Bharat Station Yojana, a total of 1,337 railway stations across the country are being redeveloped. The stations inaugurated today feature modern architecture, high-end amenities, and infrastructure built for future capacity expansion.
