TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 23, 2025:\u00a0Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today conducted a comprehensive review of welfare scheme implementation in Surguja, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, and Jashpur districts as part of his ongoing Sushasan Tihar<\/em>outreach. Speaking at the Ambikapur meeting, he announced that districts demonstrating exemplary delivery of government programmes will receive special rewards.<\/p>\n

Addressing district collectors, superintendents of police, and departmental heads, CM Sai stressed that officials must regard themselves first and foremost as public servants and ensure swift resolution of citizen grievances. \u201cRegular field visits are non-negotiable,\u201d he declared. \u201cDo not keep giving citizens repeated dates for updates\u2014settle complaints within the mandated timeframes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sai reminded attendees that more than 40 lakh applications were handled in the first two phases of Sushasan Tihar<\/em>, and now, in the third phase, he is personally visiting districts to hear feedback directly from residents. He appealed for a collaborative spirit among officials to fulfill the government\u2019s vision of a \u201cDeveloped Chhattisgarh\u201d by 2047.<\/p>\n

Focus on Basic Services and Field Accountability<\/strong>
\nOn water security, the Chief Minister ordered immediate action on any reported drinking-water shortage and directed measures to prevent pond desiccation and safeguard rural water sources. He also instructed vigilant monitoring of fertilizer and seed stocks to ensure farmers are well-supplied ahead of the monsoon.<\/p>\n

Road quality under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, housing construction under PM Awas, and other ongoing projects must undergo regular, rigorous inspections, Sai added.<\/p>\n

Health, Forest Rights, and Security Measures<\/strong>
\nWith seasonal diseases and snakebites on the horizon, all hospitals and health centres must stock essential medicines and anti-venom. On forest rights, Sai mandated a joint review by Revenue, Tribal Development, and Forest Departments to grant leases only to eligible beneficiaries, and to take stringent action against illegal leaseholders and encroachers. He further called for identifying and acting against unauthorized settlers in border districts.<\/p>\n

Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, Surguja MP Chintamani Maharaj, MLAs Rajesh Aggarwal, Prabodh Minj, Ram Kumar Toppo, Bhaiyalal Rajwade, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, and senior officials from all three districts were present at the review meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
