TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 29, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai attended the civic felicitation ceremony during the National Executive Council meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held at the Krishi Mandapam Auditorium, Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister underscored the importance of youth as the nation\u2019s greatest strength, noting that India has the largest youth population in the world whose role is crucial for achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.<\/p>\n
Highlighting ABVP as the world\u2019s largest student organization, Shri Sai expressed pride that the three-day national council meeting was hosted in Chhattisgarh. He stressed the significance of education as the foundation of progress, pointing out that top institutions like IIT, AIIMS, Triple IT, and National Law University now have representation from the state\u2019s youth. He further noted the implementation of the new education policy in Chhattisgarh, which connects education to employment opportunities.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister spoke about initiatives like Prayas, an institution supporting school children\u2019s education, whose students have achieved remarkable success in competitive exams. He also mentioned the expansion of the Tribal Youth Hostel in New Delhi to 200 seats for aspirants preparing for civil services, and the creation of Nalanda campuses across the state to provide peaceful study environments. Emphasizing inclusivity, Shri Sai announced that medical education in the Hindi language is being promoted and that primary education is offered in local mother tongues such as Gondi and Halbi.<\/p>\n
Shri Sai highlighted the state\u2019s new industrial policy, which has garnered national acclaim for attracting investments and generating youth employment. He pointed to ongoing projects in semiconductor chip manufacturing and AI data centers as promising future employment hubs. Addressing governance, he assured that corruption investigations, including in the Public Service Commission (PSC), have been entrusted to the CBI to safeguard youth interests.<\/p>\n
On governance, the Chief Minister detailed the ongoing third phase of the Sushasan Tihar campaign, aimed at gathering public feedback on government performance over the last 18 months. He cited successful welfare schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Mahtari Vandan, which support millions of women financially. Sharing touching examples, he mentioned women who have started small businesses using Mahtari Vandan funds, improving their livelihoods.<\/p>\n
Shri Sai also emphasized transparency and digitization efforts in governance, with the state pioneering online e-file systems and strict anti-corruption measures.<\/p>\n
