TFP Bureau, Korba, May 30, 2025: Adani Foundation has significantly improved learning conditions for more than 1,300 children across 21 government schools in Korba district, providing better infrastructure and essential educational materials during the 2024-25 financial year. This initiative, carried out under the social responsibility of Korba Power Limited (Adani Group), covers schools in 10 villages, including Patari, Khoddal, Pahanda, and others.<\/p>\n
To create a more conducive learning environment, the foundation supplied 220 desks and benches across 14 primary, 4 secondary, and 3 higher secondary schools. Additionally, 15 schools received RO water coolers to ensure access to safe and cool drinking water, helping prevent waterborne illnesses among students.<\/p>\n
Moreover, Adani Foundation distributed school bags, notebooks, compasses, and other stationery to 1,322 students, supporting their academic needs and encouraging better educational outcomes.<\/p>\n
Local leaders, including sarpanchs, panchs, school principals, and teachers, applauded the initiative, calling it a vital step toward promoting education among the youth in the region.<\/p>\n
Beyond Korba, Adani Group\u2019s community programs extend across six districts in Chhattisgarh\u2014including Raipur, Surguja, Durg, Balodabazar-Bhatapara, and Bilaspur\u2014focusing on education, health, infrastructure, and livelihood development. Notably, through Adani Foundation, quality online coaching is offered to tribal youth preparing for engineering and medical entrance exams in Surguja, while skill development centers empower women and young people with vocational training. The foundation also supports over 1,000 tribal children with free quality education, nutritious meals, uniforms, and study materials at the Adani Vidya Mandir, an English-medium Central Education Board school.<\/p>\n
