\nThe Council approved the state\u2019s transfer policy for 2025, setting the framework for district-level transfers by the Minister in charge from June 14 to 25 and state-level transfers with departmental minister approval from June 6 to 13. Mandatory minimum service of two years is required for transfers, with special provisions for serious illness, disability, and pre-retirement cases. A substitute employee must be arranged for transfers from scheduled areas. Transparency is ensured through e-office issuance of orders, and employees can appeal transfers within 15 days. Post June 25, transfers will be restricted unless approved on exceptional grounds.<\/p>\n
\nIn line with earlier announcements, the Gram Panchayat Damakheda was renamed \u201cKabir Dharmanagar Damakheda.\u201d Similarly, Gram Panchayat Gadhabhatha in Kabirdham district will now be known as Gram Panchayat Sonpur, and Gram Panchayat Chandalpur renamed Gram Panchayat Chandanpur.<\/p>\n
\nA 10-acre land parcel was allotted free of cost to the Culture Department in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar for the establishment of a dedicated Kalagram. This center will support local craftsmen, folk artists, and traditional artisans by providing a permanent platform to showcase their art nationally.<\/p>\n
\nTo support lower and middle-income families, the Cabinet approved the Chhattisgarh Affordable Public Housing Rules, 2025, ensuring well-planned plots with essential amenities at reasonable prices while preventing illegal plotting and encouraging real estate development.<\/p>\n
\nThe government announced the launch of the Yuva Ratna Samman Yojana to honor outstanding youth and voluntary organizations in fields such as social work, literature, innovation, education, sports, environment, women and child development, media, health, science, technology, and arts. Awards include medals, certificates, shawls, and cash prizes up to \u20b95 lakh for organizations and \u20b92.5 lakh for individuals. Eligibility criteria specify age between 15 and 29 years, with special recognition exclusively for women and girls in women and child development.<\/p>\n
\nTo encourage sports development, the diploma requirement from the National Institute of Sports, Patiala, for trainers will be relaxed for one year. The Council also approved the \u201cChhattisgarh Homestay Policy 2025-30\u201d aimed at promoting rural and tribal tourism, especially in Bastar and Surguja, offering youth employment and providing tourists with cultural experiences.<\/p>\n
