TFP Bureau, <\/i>Raipur, June 8, 2025: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Chhattisgarh kicked off the two-day Chintan Shivir 2.0 at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Nava Raipur today. The event, organized jointly by the Department of Good Governance and Convergence and IIM Raipur, brought together Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Cabinet members, MPs, MLAs, and intellectuals with the aim to enhance administrative efficiency, strengthen sectoral coordination, and foster transformative governance for public welfare.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sai described the camp as a unique platform for introspection and knowledge exchange that will propel the state toward new milestones in good governance. Highlighting progress since the last Shivir, he announced over 350 administrative reforms in the past 18 months. The adoption of an e-office system has ushered in transparency and accountability by digitizing files, ensuring fixed timelines for tasks, and significantly reducing corruption opportunities.<\/p>\n
Celebrating the silver jubilee of Chhattisgarh as the Atal Nirman Year, the Chief Minister paid homage to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, reaffirming the state\u2019s commitment to implementing his principles of good governance. He highlighted how digital governance innovations have streamlined registry processes, enabling automatic transfers within minutes\u2014revolutionizing anti-corruption efforts.<\/p>\n
On the economic front, the Chief Minister emphasized the impact of the new industry policy, including the Single Window System 2.0 and Ease of Doing Business initiatives, which have boosted investments. Special grants and industry status to tourism are transforming natural beauty into economic opportunity, while ventures in AI, climate change, and the launch of India\u2019s first AI data center park and semiconductor unit in Nava Raipur are positioning Chhattisgarh at the forefront of technological advancement.<\/p>\n
Special attention was given to Bastar\u2019s development, where effective anti-Maoist measures have paved the way for peace and progress. Cultural events such as Bastar Olympics and Bastar Pandum have fostered youth engagement. The recently approved Bodhghat irrigation project promises irrigation for 7 lakh hectares and 125 MW electricity generation, creating thousands of jobs locally.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister also highlighted the success of governance initiatives like Sushasan Tihar, which resolved 99% of over 41 lakh public applications, and Samadhan camps that facilitated direct public engagement and ensured benefits reached the eligible. He noted efforts to curb rural-urban migration through grants for schools, hospitals, and multiplexes in small towns, and praised schemes like Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Krishak Unnati Yojana for empowering large sections economically.<\/p>\n
The event featured sessions by eminent experts including Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Prof. Himanshu Rai, Dr. Ravindra Dholakia, Shri Sanjeev Sanyal, Uday Mahurkar, and Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta on leadership, governance, culture, and finance.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Sai also proudly mentioned that Chhattisgarh steel was used in the world\u2019s tallest railway bridge over the Chenab River in Jammu and Kashmir.
