The Chief Minister visited the officer\u2019s residence in Raipur, where he laid a floral wreath on the mortal remains of the braveheart and extended condolences to the grieving family.<\/p>\n<p>Lauding the courage and sacrifice of ASP Girpunje, Chief Minister Sai said, \u201cHe has laid down his life in the line of duty with immense courage and dedication. The entire state is proud of his valor. The government stands firmly with his family during this tragic time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He was accompanied by Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Shri Manoj Pingua, Director General of Police Shri Arun Dev Gautam, and Additional Director General of Police (Naxal Operations) Shri Vivekanand Sinha, all of whom also paid respects to the fallen officer.<\/p>\n<p>In light of the incident, the Chief Minister postponed his scheduled visit to Rajnandgaon and convened a high-level emergency meeting with senior Home Department officials at the Mahanadi Bhawan Secretariat.
