The award ceremony, part of the Chief Minister Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana, will take place on June 15 at the New Circuit House, Raipur. Labour Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan and Dr. Ram Pratap Singh, President of the Chhattisgarh Bhawan and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, will also be present.<\/p>\n<p>Labour Minister Shri Devangan detailed that 26 students from Class 10 and 5 from Class 12 will each receive \u20b92 lakh\u2014split equally between a two-wheeler subsidy and a cash incentive. Alongside this, the welfare board will transfer over \u20b919.71 crore directly into the bank accounts of 38,200 construction workers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under various welfare schemes.<\/p>\n<p>Key schemes and their disbursements include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana: \u20b93.83 crore to 1,915 workers<\/li>\n<li>Chief Minister Cycle Assistance Scheme: \u20b910.33 lakh to 279 workers<\/li>\n<li>Laborer Tool Assistance Scheme: \u20b92.19 crore to 6,319 workers<\/li>\n<li>Sewing Machine Assistance Scheme: \u20b994,800 to 12 workers<\/li>\n<li>Naunihal Scholarship Scheme: \u20b996.17 lakh to 4,825 workers<\/li>\n<li>Noni Babu Medhavi Education Assistance Scheme: \u20b937.63 lakh to 155 workers<\/li>\n<li>Construction Labor Longevity Assistance: \u20b940,000 to 2 workers<\/li>\n<li>Safety Equipment Assistance: \u20b974.08 lakh to 4,939 workers<\/li>\n<li>Sports Promotion Scheme for Workers\u2019 Children: \u20b950,000 to 1 worker<\/li>\n<li>Didi E-Rickshaw Assistance Scheme: \u20b97 lakh to 7 workers<\/li>\n<li>Construction Shramik Death and Disability Assistance: \u20b92.64 crore to 264 workers<\/li>\n<li>Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme: \u20b94.97 crore to 2,486 workers<\/li>\n<li>Shramik Sian Assistance Scheme: \u20b974.40 lakh to 372 workers<\/li>\n<li>Free Uniform and Book Copies Assistance: \u20b92 crore to 15,066 workers<\/li>\n<li>Construction Shramik Housing Assistance Scheme: \u20b925 lakh to 25 workers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This comprehensive welfare initiative aims to uplift the financial stability and quality of life for construction workers and their families across Chhattisgarh, reinforcing the state government\u2019s commitment to social welfare and inclusive growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over \u20b919.7 crore to be directly transferred to construction workers under multiple welfare schemes; ceremony on June 15 in Raipur<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1819,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[116,244,118,117],"tags":[326,120,325],"class_list":["post-2049","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-breaking-news","category-cg-mantralaya","category-chhattishgarh","category-state","tag-chief-minister-noni-babu-medhavi-shiksha-sahayata-yojana","tag-cmho","tag-welfare-of-construction-labour"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.9 -
