The camps, held in two phases, reached over 600 children, reflecting BALCO\u2019s ongoing commitment to employee welfare and community engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Under its CSR education initiative, Project Connect, BALCO organized a two-week camp for more than 200 students from Classes 6 to 12, studying in nearby government schools. Project Connect focuses on improving student performance, enhancing teacher capacity, and offering career counselling in core subjects such as Science, English, Maths, and Accountancy (SEMA). The camp included activities like calligraphy, drawing, dance, personality development, and self-defence sessions\u2014many conducted by dedicated employee volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>Concurrently, BALCO hosted a week-long summer camp for the children of its employees within the BALCO township, with participation from over 400 young learners. This much-anticipated event combines fun-filled activities with sessions on yoga, awareness about good touch and bad touch, and creativity-building exercises. These sessions made learning enjoyable and boosted my confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These summer camps provide a vibrant platform for self-expression, confidence-building, and all-round development.
