<\/p>\nTFP Bureau, Raipur, June 23, 2025: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, today addressed and interacted with security personnel in New Raipur, Chhattisgarh, as part of his ongoing review of anti-Naxal operations. Present at the event were Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Union Home Secretary, Director of the Intelligence Bureau, Director General of BSF, and several senior officials.<\/p>\n
In his address, Shri Shah paid heartfelt tributes to the courage, valor, and sacrifice of the Central Armed Police Forces, CoBRA teams, Chhattisgarh Police, and District Reserve Guard (DRG). \u201cThe bravery and relentless dedication of our security personnel have made India\u2019s battle against Naxalism a global example of perseverance,\u201d he said. \u201cI have full faith that our forces will ensure the country is completely free from Naxalism by March 31, 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n
Highlighting the devastation caused by decades of Naxal violence, Shri Shah noted that nearly 40,000 people have lost their lives over the past 35 years, leaving countless others injured or disabled. \u201cNaxalism has deprived poor tribal communities of basic necessities like food, electricity, education, housing, clean water, and healthcare for decades,\u201d he said. \u201cBut today, as we dismantle the last bastions of red terror, these regions are finally being connected to mainstream development.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Home Minister emphasized the profound transformation taking place across the Naxal-affected regions. \u201cWhen a child from these areas picks up a pencil instead of a gun and begins to write, it\u2019s not just their future that changes\u2014it\u2019s the future of the entire nation. That historic moment is now within reach,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Shri Shah further said that the dismantling of Maoist hideouts by India\u2019s security forces with immense courage and precision has garnered attention worldwide. \u201cInspired by their determination, I have unwavering confidence that Naxalism will be eradicated completely by March 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also emphasized that this victory will stand as one of the most significant moments in India\u2019s history since Independence, with the role of the security forces forever inscribed in golden letters.<\/p>\n
During the event, Shri Shah released the book Leor Oyna<\/em>, which chronicles the lives of innocent victims of Naxal violence.
