Out of this, 138.51 km will traverse through the Naxal-affected districts of Sukma, Dantewada, and Bijapur, which until now have lacked rail connectivity.<\/p>\n<p>This transformative rail project is expected to simplify transportation and usher in significant socio-economic development across these districts. The survey is being carried out using advanced LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology, ensuring precision and efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>The project holds strategic importance, being closely monitored by the Ministry of Home Affairs due to its dual role in bolstering internal security and regional development. The Indian Railways Department has acknowledged the proactive role of the Chhattisgarh government and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, whose leadership has accelerated the survey work.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Minister Sai emphasized, \u201cThe Kothagudem-Kirandul rail line is not merely a transport project but a symbol of hope, development, and trust for Bastar.
