This extension is effective from July 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was made under Rule 16(1) of the AIS (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958, following the approval granted by the Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), New Delhi, through letter no. 26014\/03\/2022-AIS-II(Pension) dated June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>A formal order to this effect was issued today by the General Administration Department at the Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. The extension allows Shri Amitabh Jain to continue serving as the Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh for an additional period of three months.<\/p>\n<p>The order, issued in the name of the Governor of Chhattisgarh, was signed by Ranjit Kumar, Secretary, General Administration Department.
