TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 11, 2025: In a major breakthrough in Chhattisgarh\u2019s fight against Maoist insurgency, 22 Naxal cadres surrendered in Narayanpur district, carrying a combined bounty of \u20b937.5 lakh. The surrendered rebels had individual rewards ranging from \u20b950,000 to \u20b98 lakh.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai hailed the development as a sign of changing public sentiment, stating on social media platform X, \u201cPeople now choose the path of development over the barrel of a gun.\u201d He noted that since the current government took office, a total of 1,476 Maoists have laid down arms.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister credited the success to the state\u2019s comprehensive Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy 2025 and welfare initiatives like the ‘Niyad Nellanar’ program, which have helped build trust between the administration, local communities, and former rebels.<\/p>\n
