<\/p>\nTFP Bureau, Raigarh, July 15, 2025: Reaffirming its commitment to quality education and child welfare in rural areas, the Adani Foundation organized a school bag distribution program across five government schools in Puranga Panchayat of Dharamjaigarh block. The initiative benefited 324 students from both primary and secondary levels, including those at the Kanya Ashram.<\/p>\n
The program is part of the Foundation\u2019s larger mission to support equitable education in remote regions and empower children with the tools they need for a better future. School bags were distributed at Kanya Ashram Puranga, Middle School Puranga, Primary School Telipara, Primary School Kokadar, and Primary School Puranga.<\/p>\n
Smt. Narhari Rathia, Sarpanch of Puranga Gram Panchayat, attended the event as chief guest, while Deputy Sarpanch Shri Ajay Gupta presided over the program. Mr. Manoj Kumar, Site Head of the Adani Group\u2019s Puranga Project, personally handed over school bags to the students.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manoj Kumar said, \u201cOur aim is to support children in their educational journey. This school bag is a small step toward enabling them to dream big and achieve their goals.\u201d<\/p>\n
The initiative was praised by local education officials and community members, including School Management Committee Chairman Shri Sanjay Patel, Cluster Principal Shri Puneshvar Kumar, and Headmaster Shri Bhuvaneshwar Patel. Teachers and community leaders highlighted that the initiative not only boosts children\u2019s confidence and attendance but also reduces health issues caused by carrying heavy or inappropriate bags.<\/p>\n
This is not the first educational intervention by the Adani Foundation in the region. Under *Project Utthan*, the Foundation has previously distributed educational resources to 20 primary and 6 pre-secondary schools in the Bade Bhandar, Supa, and Bunga cluster centers of Pusaur block. Additionally, school kits were provided to 54 schools under the Rail Project and Water Pump House Project of Adani Power Limited, benefiting over 4,000 students.<\/p>\n
To further improve learning environments, 350 sets of school desks and benches have also been distributed to 20 primary schools, significantly enhancing classroom infrastructure and teaching practices.<\/p>\n
The Adani Foundation continues to work actively in Raigarh district across key areas such as education, health, drinking water, and rural infrastructure.
