TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 17, 2025: In a major push to expand and strengthen healthcare services across the remotest corners of Chhattisgarh, the state government reaffirmed its full commitment to delivering reliable medical care to the masses. This significant step, officials say, marks a historic milestone in building a healthier Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off 151 new vehicles from his residence today, earmarked for the state’s field-level health personnel. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that the vehicles would greatly enhance healthcare accessibility in the remote regions of Bastar and Sarguja. \u201cThis initiative will serve as a strong stride towards a healthy Chhattisgarh,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He added that the day marks a new chapter in the journey towards a robust and accessible healthcare system. Outdated and defunct vehicles have been scrapped and replaced with state-of-the-art ones, which will also accelerate the implementation, supervision, and monitoring of national health programmes.<\/p>\n
CM Sai highlighted that these vehicles\u2014being provided to district and block-level officers and field health staff\u2014will enable regular inspections, effective supervision of health camps, swift outreach in remote areas, and timely response during emergencies. This will make the administration of national health programmes more dynamic, effective, and result-oriented. The move is expected to energize the entire public health delivery system in the state, making it more responsive and accountable.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister further announced that these vehicles will be distributed to all districts in phases, with the first batch dispatched to 12 districts across Bastar and Sarguja divisions. He also revealed that the state will soon launch 851 new ambulance services, including 375 ambulances for the 108 emergency service, 30 for mobile rural medical units, and 163 ‘Muktanjali’ hearse vehicles for free public service.<\/p>\n
He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedicated efforts for the upliftment of tribal communities and informed that, under the PM’s Jan Man Yojana, special arrangements would be made for 30 ambulances catering to Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). CM Sai said the state government will now be able to reach every household even during challenging seasons like monsoon, with full preparedness and resolve.<\/p>\n
Reiterating his government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening healthcare services, the Chief Minister provided detailed information on the ongoing efforts to reinforce the medical infrastructure.<\/p>\n
State Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, addressing the event, stated that the government is working with full dedication to improve the state\u2019s healthcare ecosystem. He elaborated on the various steps taken to enhance health infrastructure and extended best wishes to the field health personnel for receiving this much-needed support.<\/p>\n
