{"id":2576,"date":"2025-07-17T16:00:19","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T16:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=2576"},"modified":"2025-07-17T16:00:19","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T16:00:19","slug":"candidate-caught-using-hidden-camera-and-micro-speaker-to-cheat-in-deputy-engineer-exam-in-bilaspur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefrontpage24.com\/?p=2576","title":{"rendered":"Candidate Caught Using Hidden Camera and Micro Speaker to Cheat in Deputy Engineer Exam in Bilaspur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TFP Bureau, Bilaspur, July 17, 2025:\u00a0A major case of high-tech cheating was uncovered during the Deputy Engineer (Civil\/Electrical\/Mechanical) recruitment exam conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (Vyapam) at Centre No. 1309, Ramdulare Shaheed Balak Uchchatar Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Sarkanda, on July 13.<\/p>\n<p>A female candidate, Ms. Annu Surya, was found appearing for the exam using a hidden camera concealed in her undergarments and a micro speaker fitted in her ear. Her younger sister, Anuradha, stationed outside the exam centre, was allegedly feeding her answers via a walkie-talkie, tablet, and mobile phone connected to the candidate&#8217;s concealed devices.<\/p>\n<p>Acting on a tip-off, the exam centre head, along with Vyapam officials and a female lecturer, conducted a physical search and confiscated the illicit electronic equipment. A cheating case was promptly filed based on the report of Centre Head Shri P. Mandal.<\/p>\n<p>A formal case was registered at Sarkanda Police Station under sections 318(2), 112(2), 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Section 72 of the IT Act, and Sections 3 and 9 of the Chhattisgarh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2008. The two accused \u2014 Ms. Annu Surya and Ms. Anuradha, daughters of Kaleshwar Ram and residents of Kuparkapa Goriya village in Narayanpur, Jashpur \u2014 were arrested on July 14 and produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court.<\/p>\n<p>Considering the seriousness of the offense, police sought a three-day remand for detailed interrogation to determine the full extent of the cheating network.
