At BALCO, quality control begins with rigorous evaluation of raw materials like coke, pitch, alumina, and aluminium fluoride (AlF3), which are assessed for chemical and physical parameters critical to efficient smelting. During metal melting, precise regulation of the cryolite ratio optimizes electrolysis. Subsequent purity checks and metallographic analyses ensure the molten aluminium and cast products meet stringent quality and uniformity standards. These comprehensive checks ensure product integrity while aligning with the company\u2019s sustainability goals.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Quality Sankalp\u2019 initiative, themed \u2018Standard Work = Quality Work\u2019, emphasizes adherence to standardized procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
