This solemn ritual, marking the formal start of the 75-day-long spiritual celebration, saw the participation of key dignitaries including MP and Bastar Dussehra Committee President Mahesh Kashyap, Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Dev, Mayor Sanjay Pandey, along with traditional functionaries and a large gathering of local devotees.<\/p>\n<p>During the Paat Jatra, the ceremonial worship and consecration of chariot-making tools such as the Thurlu Khotla were performed, symbolizing the sacred preparations for the festival\u2019s grand events. This ceremony heralds the beginning of a rich calendar of rituals that showcase Bastar\u2019s deep cultural roots and devotion to Goddess Danteshwari.<\/p>\n<p>Key upcoming events include Deri Gadhai on September 5, Kachhangadi on September 21, and Kalash Sthapana on September 22.
