The meeting paved the way for accelerated approvals of key road projects worth over \u20b97,000 crore across the state.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the discussions, Union Minister Gadkari directed officials to expedite financial approvals for these pending proposals. In addition, \u20b9600 crore has been sanctioned under the Central Road Fund (CRF) for road construction and upgradation works in Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Foundation Stone for Four Major Bridges in Raipur Soon<\/strong><br \/>\nTo ease urban traffic congestion, four new bridges will be constructed in Raipur. Their foundation stones are expected to be laid in the coming weeks. Plans are also in place to widen key connecting roads between Raipur and other districts from two lanes to four, significantly enhancing travel speed and safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>95-km Six-Lane Industrial Corridor and Gati Shakti Integration<\/strong><br \/>\nA significant development from the meeting was the directive to expedite the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a 95-km six-lane highway connecting Raipur\u2013Arang\u2013Bilaspur\u2013Darri. This industrial corridor will link major educational, agricultural, and industrial zones. It was also decided that future state road projects will be aligned with the Centre\u2019s <em>Gati Shakti<\/em> portal for faster clearances and integrated planning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samriddhi Expressway Extension and Highway Upgrades Approved<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Samriddhi Expressway will be extended up to Raipur to further enhance connectivity.
