TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 1, 2025: Chhattisgarh will join the nationwide celebration of India\u2019s 79th Independence Day with the \u2018Har Ghar Tiranga\u2019 campaign, running from August 2 to 15, 2025. The campaign, organized in three phases, encourages citizens to proudly hoist the National Flag at their homes, fostering patriotism and respect for the tricolour.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s campaign theme, \u2018Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhata: Celebrating Freedom with Cleanliness\u2019<\/em>, underscores a dual commitment to national pride and community hygiene, including water conservation.<\/p>\n

During the campaign, the Tricolour will be displayed at government offices, institutions, and residences. Buildings will be brightly illuminated, rangoli art will decorate public spaces, and selfie zones will be set up for public engagement. Awareness will be raised through pamphlets, banners, and standees in local languages across the state.<\/p>\n

Phase 1 (August 2\u20138)<\/strong> focuses on schools and public spaces, featuring Tiranga-themed art, rangoli competitions, quizzes on the flag\u2019s history, rakhi-making contests, and live demonstrations of flag-weaving. Letter-writing competitions inspired by the National Flag\u2019s values will also be held in schools.<\/p>\n

Phase 2 (August 9\u201312)<\/strong> will showcase Tiranga fairs and concerts, featuring community participation, local artists, elected representatives, and sportspersons. The phase will also include patriotic cultural programmes alongside flag, bike, and cycle rallies across districts.<\/p>\n

Phase 3 (August 13\u201315)<\/strong> will culminate with the National Flag hoisted on all government buildings, educational institutions, hotels, offices, dams, and bridges, many of which will be illuminated. Special activities promoting cleanliness and water conservation will accompany the celebrations.<\/p>\n

The campaign calls for active involvement from employees and families of public enterprises, self-help groups, social organisations, and private sector participants, including contributions through corporate social responsibility (CSR).<\/p>\n

The Department of Culture has issued detailed guidelines to district collectors to ensure robust participation. Citizens will be encouraged to engage via state government websites and social media, with all campaign activities promoted on www.harghartiranga.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Grassroots involvement will be strengthened by mobilising gram panchayat sarpanches, municipal officials, and elected leaders. Local self-help groups will support flag production, while distribution centres will operate through gram panchayats, post offices, and fair price shops across all districts.<\/p>\n

To maximise outreach, pamphlets and stickers will be distributed at toll booths, check-posts, and other high-traffic public locations.<\/p>\n
