TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 25, 2025: The Chhattisgarh Government has appointed senior IAS officer Vikash Sheel (IAS, 1994 batch)<\/strong>as the new Chief Secretary of the state. He will take charge on September 30, 2025<\/strong>, following the retirement of the incumbent Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain (IAS, 1989 batch)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The General Administration Department (GAD) issued the official notification on Thursday, stating that Vikash Sheel will assume responsibilities as Chief Secretary with effect from the date of Jain\u2019s superannuation.<\/p>\n

With this, Vikash Sheel will take charge of the state\u2019s top bureaucratic post, overseeing administration, policy implementation and coordination between departments.<\/p>\n
