He highlighted the High Court\u2019s adoption of digital innovations such as virtual courts, live streaming, Aadhaar-based searches, and digital record rooms, which have promoted transparency and efficiency. The Chief Minister also paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, whose vision made possible the creation of Chhattisgarh and its High Court.<\/p>\n
Reflecting on the larger judicial reforms in the country, Shri Sai credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for abolishing the colonial-era Indian Penal Code and introducing the Indian Judicial Code, which emphasizes justice over punishment. He noted that the Chhattisgarh High Court\u2019s judgments over the years on issues such as civil liberties, tribal rights, environmental protection, and governance are cited as precedents nationwide.<\/p>\n

Supreme Court Judge Shri J.K. Maheshwari urged the judiciary to adopt a long-term vision for the next 25 years, stressing that the highest objective of the judicial system is to gain the trust of the people. \u201cThe common man comes to the court with faith, and we must uphold that spirit,\u201d<\/em> he said, calling for an integrated approach to ensure justice reaches the last citizen.<\/p>\n Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu described the Silver Jubilee as both a celebration of the judiciary\u2019s journey and a tribute to its traditions of upholding democracy and the Constitution. He noted that in the last 25 years, the High Court has taken significant strides in transparency and access to justice.<\/p>\n Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court Shri Ramesh Sinha, in his welcome address, described the celebrations as a proud moment, recalling the institution\u2019s achievements in strengthening the rule of law since its inception.
