TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 10,2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reaffirmed his government\u2019s commitment to good governance, transparency, and inclusive development while attending the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav<\/em> of the Sri Sri Raneshwar Ramchandi Temple in Jhagarpur village, Lailunga development block of Raigarh district. The grand event, organized by the Kolta community, witnessed a large turnout of devotees and villagers.<\/p>\n

At the ceremony, held on the premises of Swami Atmanand Government Hindi Medium Higher Secondary School, Chief Minister Sai was given a traditional welcome with garlands and tilak. He offered prayers at the newly consecrated temple, seeking peace, prosperity, and the welfare of the people of Chhattisgarh. Describing the temple as a symbol of faith and unity, he said that India\u2019s true strength lies in its culture, values, and respect for elders. \u201cParents are our first gods\u2014if they are happy, all deities are pleased,\u201d he said, urging everyone to honor and serve their elders.<\/p>\n

Emphasizing his administration\u2019s focus on accountable governance, the Chief Minister said the state is actively implementing e-governance initiatives and taking strong action against corruption. \u201cWithin 18 to 19 months of assuming office, most of Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s promises have been fulfilled,\u201d he said. He highlighted key achievements such as raising the paddy procurement limit to 21 quintals per acre, setting the support price at \u20b93,100 per quintal, clearing pending farmer bonuses, and launching welfare schemes like the Mahtari Vandan Yojana<\/em>, which provides \u20b91,000 per month to women.\"\"<\/p>\n

He added that 18 lakh houses have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana<\/em>, and that schemes including the Landless Labourer Assistance Scheme<\/em>, Tendu Leaf Purchase at \u20b95,500 per sack<\/em>, Ramlala Darshan Yojana<\/em>, and Mukhyamantri Tirtha Darshan Yojana<\/em> are being implemented to support marginalized groups. \u201cChhattisgarh is a land of immense resources,\u201d he said, \u201cand with public cooperation, we are scripting a new chapter of progress. \u2018Chhattisgarhiya Sable Badhiya\u2019 is not just a slogan\u2014it reflects our governance ethos.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to Prime Minister Modi\u2019s newly launched Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana<\/em> and Pulses Self-Reliance Mission<\/em> worth \u20b935,440 crore, Chief Minister Sai said these initiatives will transform the agriculture sector and enhance farmers\u2019 income. He added that his government is working to expand irrigation facilities, reform the land registry system, and ensure that welfare schemes reach the last beneficiary. \u201cPublic trust is our greatest strength,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n

At the event, the Chief Minister announced development projects worth over \u20b963 crore for the region, including \u20b950 crore for the construction of the Kunjara\u2013Tolge\u2013Milupara road, \u20b925 lakh each for new community halls in Jhagarpur and Lailunga, \u20b92.5 crore for a stop dam-cum-causeway between Ward No. 5 and Patelpara, \u20b910 crore for a culvert over the Kharun River, and a new building for the Government Girls\u2019 High School in Ward No. 11.<\/p>\n

Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, who also addressed the gathering, praised the Chief Minister\u2019s people-centric approach and his swift fulfillment of promises. \u201cJust 12 days after taking office, he released \u20b93,716 crore in bonuses to 13 lakh farmers,\u201d Choudhary said, adding that over 18 lakh families are benefitting from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Calling Chhattisgarh the land of Mata Kaushalya, the Finance Minister said that under the Chief Minister\u2019s leadership, the state is witnessing all-round progress rooted in cultural pride and social unity.<\/p>\n
