<\/p>\nTFP Bureau, Raipur, October 15, 2025: The Chhattisgarh government has begun extensive preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s visit to the state on November 1. The Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in five major events during his visit, including the inauguration of the new Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly building and the launch of the State Festival marking the state\u2019s Silver Jubilee celebrations.<\/p>\n
According to official information, Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Museum and the \u201cShanti Shikhar\u201d Training Centre for a Peaceful World established by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. Additionally, he will interact with children who have undergone heart surgeries at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital.<\/p>\n
Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Pingua chaired a high-level review meeting at the State Festival venue in Naya Raipur (Atal Nagar) to assess the progress of preparations and provide detailed guidelines. He informed that the Prime Minister will arrive in Raipur on the night of October 31 and attend all scheduled events the following day.<\/p>\n
During the review meeting, Raipur Collector Gaurav Singh presented a detailed briefing on the preparations, while senior officers including Public Works Department Secretary Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Transport Secretary S. Prakash, Technical Education and Skill Development Secretary Dr. S. Bharti Dasan, Raipur Commissioner Mahadev Kavre, and Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh were also present.<\/p>\n
Pingua instructed officials to ensure smooth traffic management, parking arrangements, and comprehensive civic amenities such as drinking water, toilets, and sanitation at the Rajyotsav fairground and other venues. He emphasized that all intersections in Naya Raipur should be cleaned and beautified ahead of the Prime Minister\u2019s arrival. He also directed that the fairground be divided into well-defined sectors, with staff assigned to specific duties to facilitate public movement and ensure security.<\/p>\n
Officials have been asked to ensure uninterrupted power supply and make alternate arrangements in case of any disruptions. High-quality sound and lighting systems are being installed at the main event venue, and the Department of Telecommunications has been instructed to strengthen network connectivity and communication facilities.<\/p>\n
Three large domes are being constructed in front of the main stage at the Rajyotsav ground, each equipped with 60 LED screens to ensure visibility for the audience. Two entry gates are being developed\u2014one specifically for departmental exhibitions that will highlight the achievements and initiatives of various state departments and public sector undertakings. A special digital exhibition and a model of the Prime Minister\u2019s residence will also be showcased.<\/p>\n
The meeting was informed that parking facilities for around 20,000 vehicles have been arranged on both sides of the fairground, along with water and sanitation amenities along the approach routes to Raipur. About 300 toilets are being constructed at the venue, and the Health Department is setting up a temporary 20-bed hospital with an ICU. Twenty-five ambulances and multiple fire brigade vehicles will also be deployed as part of the safety measures.<\/p>\n
